Varun Malhotra is the founder and CEO of Toronto-based Synergyse, which was launched in 2013 with an aim to teach users how to use Google Apps. Google did not disclose the financial details of the deal. Google Apps [Operations](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/34054/who-has-taken-charge-as-the-new-director-general-of-military-operations-dgmo-of-the-indian-army) Senior Director Peter Scocimara said in a blog. The Google Apps product suite, which includes Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Docs, was built to provide cloud-based [productivity](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/300312/how-to-set-up-your-desk-to-increase-productivity-at-work) and [communications](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/44988/who-is-the-minister-of-communications-independent-charge-railways-ministry) and is now used by more than two million paying businesses around the world, Scocimara said. He said Synergyse will be joining [Google](https://www.google.com/), and the company intends to make the product available as an integral part of the Google Apps offering later this year.
