# How to speed up android browsing

When you’re using the Android [version](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12845/things-to-remember-while-migrating-odoo-to-a-better-version) of Google Chrome, you probably have experienced the time when Chrome takes way too much time to load, or crashes frequently, or acts sluggish when scrolling.\

When it comes to browsing the web on our [Android smartphones](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12706/basic-problems-fixing-tips-in-android-smartphone) and tablets, Google’s [Chrome Browser](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94847/why-is-my-phone-not-able-to-play-videos-on-the-chrome-browser-while-on-youtube-the-videos-are-playing-at-720p) is one of the best [options](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12789/best-options-for-a-home-based-business) around, but it could be better.

The Chrome browser has [hidden features](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/88427/hidden-features-in-chatgpt-most-users-still-don-t-know) that aren’t ready for prime time yet, and they can easily be accessed and changed just by typing into the [address bar](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/70/how-can-we-remove-address-bar-of-browser).

##### Here I am telling you some steps to increasing speed of your browsing.

1. Open chrome browser

2. Type or copy/paste chrome://flags into the URL bar

3. Scroll halfway down and find “Maximum tiles for interest area” (#max-tiles-for-interest-area ) in the list

4. Tap the Dropdown menu titled “Default” and change to 512. (Try 256 for older devices with less than 1GB RAM)

5. Tap “Relaunch Now” at the bottom to [confirm](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/115761/facebook-account-locked-with-confirm-your-identity-loop) the changes
