## How to Crop an Image with Microsoft Paint

[Microsoft](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81711/microsoft-disconnects-cortana-and-reinvents-it) Paint or '[MS Paint](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96650/why-is-microsoft-planning-to-shut-down-ms-paint)' is a basic [graphics](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/336067/html-graphics-using-html)/painting utility that is included in all the Microsoft [Windows](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12793/insightful-review-of-stellar-phoenix-windows-data-recovery-home-edition) versions. MS Paint can be used to draw, colour and edit pictures, including imported pictures from a [digital camera](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/101798/why-is-my-digital-camera-not-taking-clear-photos).

1. Press **Start** button, type **paint** and open it

2. Copy your image and paste here

3. Go to paint menu and Make sure that Home is selected after sure you [choose](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/87863/why-you-should-not-choose-wordpress-for-making-a-website) **Select** option

4. Drag and highlight your desired area which you want to save from your image

5. Now select **Crop** tool from [your home](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/86401/10-best-tricks-to-use-in-your-home-gardening) menu

6. After click crop button your image is cropped
