# Shortcut keys of basics applicable to PowerPoint 2007

##### Microsoft Office basics applicable to PowerPoint 2007

| alt+shift+tab | Switch to the [previous](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81421/unlock-2-0-is-just-like-previous-corona-lockdowns) window. |
| alt+tab | Switch to the next window. |
| ctrl+w or ctrl+f4 | Close the [active window](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/33483/using-python-find-active-window-name-in-mac-os-x). |
| ctrl+f5 | Restore the size of the active window after you maximize it. |
| f6 | Move a task pane from another pane in the [program](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/12337/scaling-up-your-mentorship-program) window (clockwise [direction](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/5034/10-animals-with-the-best-sense-of-direction)). You may need to press F6 more than once |
| shift+f6 | Move to a pane from another pane in the program window (counterclockwise direction). |
| ctrl+f6 | When more than one window is open, switch to the next window. |
| ctrl+shift+f6 | Switch to the previous window. |
| ctrl+f7 | When a document window is not maximized, perform the Move [command](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/178/synchronous-and-asynchronous-command-execution-in-c-sharp-dot-net) (on the [Control](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83439/bipartisan-gun-control-bill-passed-in-us-after-decades) menu for the window). Use the arrow keys to move the window and when finished, press ESC. |
| ctrl+f8 | When a document window is not maximized, perform the Size command (on the Control menu for the window). Press the arrow keys to resize the window and when finished, press ESC. |

| ctrl+f10 | Maximize or restore a selected window. |
