In this article I am trying to explain Explorer Keyboard Guide in Visual SourceSafe.

This section defines keys that can be used to navigate within Visual SourceSafe Explorer.

General Navigation Keys
Keys
Description

TAB

Moves between the file list and the project list.

UP ARROW

Moves up the file list or project list.

DOWN ARROW

Moves down the file list or project list.

HOME

Moves to the top of the file list or project list.

END

Moves to the bottom of the file list or project list.

F6

Goes to next pane.

SHIFT+F6

Goes to previous pane.

SHIFT+DOWN ARROW

Moves to next file or project, extend selected range.

SHIFT+UP ARROW

Moves to previous file or project, extend selected range.

File List Navigation Keys     
Keys
Description

HOME, then SHIFT+END

Selects all files in the current project, or selects a project in the project list.

ENTER

Allows viewing of a file.

Project List Navigation Keys
Keys

Description

ENTER

Shows or hides subprojects.

NUMPAD *

Includes projects and subprojects.

NUMPAD +

Expands a project.

NUMPAD -

Collapses a project.
